Attach the pedals
The pedals for your e-bike should be packaged in the same box as the
front axle quick release. Each pedal is marked on the threaded axle end, L
for the left pedal and R for the right pedal. Thread each pedal into the hole
on the corresponding crank arm. Tighten using a wrench on the flattened
section just below the thread, turning the specific direction listed below for
each pedal.
The left pedal attaches to the left side arm and is turned
counter-clockwise. The right pedal attaches to the chain side crank arm by
turning clockwise.
Check your pedals before each ride to ensure that they are tight. If you
ride your bike with loose pedals, you may strip the threads that hold the
pedal to the crank.
Adjust Seat & Seat Post
The installation and adjustment of your seat is the easy yet very important
step.
Open the quick release(a) for the seat post, and insert the seat post(b) into
your frame. Make sure the capped nut(c) on the other side of the quick
release is snug enough to ensure your seat does not move when the quick
release is closed.
