Do you have a question about the Gisowatt ProfiClean PC 35 Tools Evolution and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

The ProfiClean PC 35 TOOLS evolution is a versatile wet and dry vacuum cleaner designed for various cleaning tasks, including integration with power tools. It is manufactured by Gisowatt, an Italian company specializing in household appliances.

Function Description:

The ProfiClean PC 35 TOOLS evolution operates as both a dry vacuum cleaner for dust and solid debris and a wet vacuum cleaner for liquids. A key feature is its "Self Cleaning Filter" function, which automatically cleans the filter cartridge to maintain optimal performance. This function can be activated manually for up to 30 seconds. The appliance also boasts a "power tool" mode, allowing it to synchronize operation with an electric power tool. When connected to a power tool, the vacuum cleaner automatically starts and stops with the tool, and after the tool is switched off, the vacuum continues to run for 8-10 seconds to clear any remaining dust, then activates the self-cleaning filter function.

Usage Features:

  • Manual Mode: The selector switch ("A") can be set to "MANUAL" for general vacuuming of dust or liquids. The power switch ("B") turns the appliance on ("I") or off ("O"), with an indicator light ("C") showing operation status.
  • Automatic Mode (with Power Tool): By setting the selector switch ("A") to "AUTOMATIC" and the power switch ("B") to "I", the vacuum cleaner operates in sync with a connected power tool. The power tool is plugged into the dedicated socket on the motor unit (A), and the vacuum cleaner is plugged into the main power supply (B). The vacuum cleaner will start and stop automatically with the power tool.
  • Filter Cleaning: In automatic mode, after the power tool is switched off, the vacuum continues for 8-10 seconds, then activates the "Self Cleaning Filter" function. This function can also be manually initiated by pressing the orange momentary switch ("D") for up to 30 seconds.
  • Liquid Vacuuming: When vacuuming liquids, the safety float automatically cuts off suction when the maximum liquid level is reached in the drum. The user is alerted by an increase in motor speed and loss of suction. The appliance should be immediately turned off and the drum emptied. To ensure partial airflow, the crevice tool should not be fully submerged in liquids.
  • Hose Connection: The flexible hose (01 313B0N) can be connected to the air inlet connector (r) for general vacuuming or to the dust conveyer of an electric power tool using an adapter (u) for synchronized dust extraction. Cable clamps (50 318BHN) are provided to secure the power tool's cable to the flexible hose.
  • Accessories: The vacuum cleaner is compatible with various accessories, including rigid plastic extension wands (50 091B0N), curved chrome-plated steel tubes (upper: 40 020B5N, lower: 40 021B5N), a triangular nozzle for solids (50 089B0N), a crevice tool (50 080B0N), a round brush (50 081B0N), industrial floor brushes for hard floors (60 005B5N), industrial carpet brushes (60 006B5N), and industrial brushes for liquids (01 000B5N).

Maintenance Features:

  • Filter System:
    • Paper Filter Bag (83 132B0K): Used for dry vacuuming of dust and solid debris, in conjunction with the filter cartridge. It should be replaced when approximately 3/4 full and never reused.
    • Filter Cartridge (83 200BJA): Essential for dry vacuuming. It should be kept clean and replaced if excessively caked or worn. Cleaning involves washing it with water as illustrated in the manual, ensuring it is completely dry before reinstallation. Handle with care when wet.
    • Foam Filter (83 035BHB): Used exclusively for wet vacuuming. It should always be used when vacuuming liquids and removed when dry vacuuming. It can be washed with water (without detergents) and replaced if worn or torn.
  • Drum Cleaning: The drum should be emptied when half full and dried along with accessories after vacuuming liquids.
  • Power Cord Replacement: If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorized technical service center using special tools.
  • General Cleaning: The appliance should only be cleaned with water. Avoid using trichloroethylene, solvents, or abrasive detergents.
  • Safety: Always unplug the appliance immediately after use and before any cleaning or maintenance. Repairs should only be performed by qualified specialists using original spare parts. Attempting self-repair can be extremely dangerous. End-of-life appliances must be rendered unusable by cutting the power cord before disposal. Do not vacuum flammable, explosive, or corrosive substances, and do not use the appliance in gas-saturated environments.
