Otherwise, consider that the pipe used between the valve and the tub spout is not 1/2 in. IPS, or the COPPER pipe is incorrect, or the distance between the valve and the showerhead is less than 48 in., or there is a restriction between the valve and the tub spout, or the valve is installed upside down.
