How to fix a Glastron Boats engine that will not crank?

  If your Glastron Boat engine won't crank, start by checking that the throttle lever is in the NEUTRAL position. Then, make sure all wiring connections are tight. If the issue continues, test the ignition switch continuity and replace it if needed. You might also need to replace the solenoid. Ensure the battery switch is set to battery #1 or #2, if your boat is equipped with one. Finally, recharge or replace the battery if it's dead. Clean, adjust the gap, or replace the spark plugs if they are fouled or broken. If the distributor cap is wet or dirty, wipe it clean. Inspect it for cracks or carbonized paths and replace it if necessary.

  If the starter won't crank the engine on your Glastron Boat, charge the battery and change the dual battery switch to ALL, if equipped. Clean the terminals if the battery cables are corroded. Check and tighten all connections if there's a loose connection in the starting circuit. Replace the switch if the starter switch is defective. Clean or replace the brushes if the starter motor brushes are dirty. Loosen the starter motor and free the locked gear if the starter drive is jammed.
