1. Remove the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
2. Remove the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Replacement .
3. Remove the oil pump screen bolt and nuts.
4. Remove the oil pump screen with O-ring seal.
5. Remove the O-ring seal from the pump screen.
6. Discard the O-ring seal.

Remove Oil Pump

Remove the oil pump from the engine.

Clean and Inspect Oil Pump

Clean and inspect the oil pump, referring to the Oil Pump Cleaning and Inspection guide.

Align Oil Pump and Crankshaft Sprocket

Align the splined surfaces of the crankshaft sprocket and the oil pump drive gear.

Install Oil Pump to Engine Block

Install Oil Pump Bolts

Install Engine Front Cover

Install Oil Pan
