  If the ironing plate on your GMP Laundry Appliance isn't heating up after you've adjusted the thermostat, it could be due to several reasons: * The safety thermostat may have been activated. To resolve this, reset the safety thermostat using its push button. * The thermostat probe might be disconnected. If the display shows 'Er1' (right) or 'Er3' (left), check the probe connections. * The thermostat probe could be in a short circuit, indicated by 'Er2' (right) or 'Er4' (left) on the display. Make sure to use the entire ironing surface properly. * There might be a significant temperature difference (over 40°C) between the right and left probes. Ensure you are using the whole ironing surface correctly.
