Usage Features

Control Panel and Remote Control: The heater can be operated using both the control panel on the unit and a remote control. The remote control performs the same functions as the control panel buttons. For best results, the remote should be aimed directly at the remote sensor on the front panel of the heater.

Power On/Off:

  • To turn the heater on, press the ON/OFF button on the control panel or remote.
  • To turn the unit off, press the ON/OFF button again.

Heat Settings: Pressing the HEAT SETTING button allows selection of three heat modes:

  • High (2000W): Provides maximum heating power.
  • Low (1000W): Provides reduced heating power.
  • ECO: Pre-set to maintain a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius. The temperature in ECO mode cannot be adjusted.

Thermostat Control:

  • The up and down arrow buttons (ADJUST UP/DOWN) are used to set the desired comfort temperature between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius.
  • Once the temperature is set, the display will show the current room temperature.
  • The heating function will automatically turn off when the room temperature reaches the preset temperature and turn on again if the room temperature drops below the preset.

Timer Function:

  • The heater includes a 12-hour timer.
  • Press the TIMER button repeatedly to set the appliance to switch on/off automatically from 1 to 12 hours, in 1-hour increments.

Oscillation Function:

  • The OSCILLATION button turns the heater's oscillation function on and off, allowing the unit to rotate and distribute heat more widely.

Cool-Down Period:

  • To protect internal components, when the unit is turned OFF, the fan will continue to blow room temperature air for 30-60 seconds before shutting down to standby. It is crucial not to turn off the main power switch or unplug the heater from the wall during this cool-down period.

First Use:

  • When the appliance is turned on for the first time, a slight odour or smoke may be released. This is a normal occurrence due to the initial heating of the elements and should not reoccur.

Maintenance Features

  • Before Cleaning: Always unplug the heater from the mains supply and ensure it has cooled down completely.
