Remove the Tiller Basket
7. Remove the tiller basket by pulling up.
Fold Down and Lock the Tiller
8. Use one hand to grasp the tiller handle. Use your other hand to push up on the tiller
adjustment lever. Move the tiller downward. Release the adjustment lever to lock the till-
er in place. See figure 15.
The Golden Eagle scooter weighs approximately 152 lbs. with the
seat, batteries, and tiller basket removed. Exercise good judgment when moving or
lifting the scooter.
WARNING! Be aware of labeled pinch-points! Be careful not to pinch your fingers
between moving or removable parts during the disassembly of your scooter. Your
full attention is required!
