VII. DISASSEMBLY

DISASSEMBLY

When disassembling your scooter, please be sure to follow these simple instructions.

Remove the Seat

1. Place your scooter on a level surface.

Remove the key from the key switch before you begin to disassemble

your Golden Eagle.

Never pull on the arms or use them as a handle to move the scooter as

they could inadvertently fold causing injury.

2. Fold the seat back down, grip the seat on opposite sides and, with a firm grip; pull the

seat straight up and off of the seat pedestal. See figure 13.

Remove the Batteries

4. Remove the battery cover by lifting the cover up. See figure 14.

5. Remove the Velcro strap from each battery, and then unplug the batteries from the

scooter.

6. Lift the batteries (2) out of the scooter.
