Pleasereadthesafetyinformationcarefullybeforeusingtheunit!
Inthecaseofextendedabsenceorthunderstorms,unplugtheunitfromthemains.
•Powersupply:Ensurethatthepowersupplycableislaidinsuchawaythatitdoes
notobstructanybodyanddoesnotbecomedamaged.Theequipmentmustnotbe
used with a defective cable!
• Cleaning:Removethepowersupplyplugbeforecleaningtheunit.Useadryor
slightlydampenedclothandensurethatnomoisturegetsintotheunit.
• Objectsintheunit:Makesurethatnoobjectscangetintotheventilationslotsand
openings.Thereisarisktolifeduetoelectricshock!
• Repair:Repairsmayonlybecarriedoutbyqualiedspecialistpersonnel.The
warrantywillbeinvalidatedinthecaseofinappropriateaccessbythirdpartiesand
thesafetyoftheunitcannolongerbeguaranteed.Neveropenthecaseoftheunit
yourself.Evenwhendisconnectedfromthemains,thereisanacuterisktolifedue
toelectricshock.Internalcomponentsmaybedamagediftouched.
• Location:Placetheunitonaatandlevelsurfaceorhanginasuitableposition(if
provisionismadeforthis)usingtheappropriatehangingeyesontheunit.
•Warning:Dependinguponthenatureofthesurfaceonwhichtheunitisplaced,the
natural heating of the unit can cause discoloration.
•Adequateventilation:Theventilationslotsoftheunitmustneverbecovered.Make
surethatthereisafreespaceofatleast10cmtothesideofandabovetheunitand
thatheatcanbedissipatedwithoutobstruction.
• Externalinuences:Neverexposetheunittomoisture(e.g.condensationorspray
water)ordirectsunlight.Donotplacetheunitinthevicinityofheatsources,suchas
heatersorself-heatingdevices.
• Mainsvoltage:Usetheequipmentwiththevoltagespeciedonthecaseonly!Do
notplugtheunitintothemainsuntilallconnectionandinstallationworkhasbeen
completed.
