10. Connect power
Plug the 230 V connector into the back of your
Nest Protect.
11. Install your Nest Protect
Tuck any excess wiring into the dry lining box rst.
Line up the three tabs on the back of your Nest
Protect with the notches on the back plate. Hold Nest
Protect against the back plate and turn it clockwise.
Continue turning until it’s square with the wall or
ceiling. Install the rest of your Nest Protects if you
have more.
Tip: If you ever need to remove it (for cleaning
or baery replacement), turn o power to your
Nest Protect at the fuse box or remove the fuse rst.
Then turn it anticlockwise until it disconnects from
the back plate.
