4-B Install Forward-Facing with LATCH Strap
Review your vehicle’s owner manual for LATCH location and use.
1. Rotate the Recline Foot
Rotate the light grey recline foot on the bottom of the car seat
into the forward-facing position marked with an orange label.
The recline foot is secure when it “clicks” into place.
2. Remove Top Tether Strap from Storage Location
Unhook tether and lay it in the seat.
3. Recline the Car Seat
Fully recline the car seat to fully expose the forward-facing
belt path.
4.
Move the LATCH strap
See section 8-A to move the LATCH connectors to the
forward-facing position.
