This unit can also be used by
children from 8 years age as
well as by persons with limited
physical, sensory or mental abil-
ity or with a lack of experience
and/or knowledge if they are
supervised or have been trained
in using the unit and have under-
stood the dangers which may
result from it. Cleaning and user
maintenance must not be carried
out by children, unless they are
8 years or older and are super-
vised during the process.
The unit and its connecting cable
have to be clear of children who
are younger than 8 years.
Children should be supervised in
order to make sure that they do
not play with this unit.
The unit is not intended to be
used with an external timer or a
separate remote control.
Always disconnect the connect-
ing cable by using plug; do not
pull the connecting cable.
Do not use the unit if the connect-
ing cable or plug are damaged.
Prevent that liquids get on the
plug.
If the connection cable is dam-
aged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, the after-sales ser-
vice or a similarly qualified per-
son in order to prevent danger.
Do not open the housing under
any circumstances. When touch-
ing live connections and chang-
ing the electrical and mechani-
cal structure, there is danger of
electric shock.
Never touch live parts. They may
cause an electric shock or even
may lead to death.
Before connecting the unit, com-
pare the connecting data (volt-
age and frequency) on the type
plate with those of your energy
network. These details must cor-
respond so that no damage oc-
curs to the unit.
Check to be sure that the con-
necting cable has been safe-
ly laid. If the cable gets caught
somewhere, the unit may fall
down from the work surface.
Packaging materials must not be
used for playing. There is danger
of suffocation.
Never use the unit in the vicinity
of a heat source.
Never use the unit outdoors, and
always keep it in a dry place.
