Fill the coffee lter with coffee grounds.
Note: We recommend that you freshly grind the coffee using a Graef coffee grind-
er. You can purchase coffee grinders in our online shop www.graef.de.
Recommended quantity:
Large cups (125 ml) Small cups (83 ml) Measuring spoon

Close the coffee lter.
Put the glass jug below the coffee lter. Check to see that the glass jug sits cor-
rectly below the coffee lter.
Switch the unit on.
After completion of the brewing operation, the hotplate will still keep the coffee
warm for about 40 minutes.
Note: Thanks to the automatic drip stop function, your can remove the glass jug
already during the brewing operation and make yourself a cup of coffee. Once the
glass jug has been reinserted, the brewing operation will continue.
Subsequently, the unit will automatically switch off.
You can also switch off the unit by pressing the On/Off switch.
Dispose of the used lter bag.
PROGRAMMING THE CLOCK TIMER (AUTO)
Note: Make sure that the unit is switched off.
Press the “AUTO” button.
Select the desired time. See “Setting the time”.
Conrm the time by pressing "AUTO".
The left control light is illuminating.
The brewing operation will start at the desired time.
CANCELLING OR CHANGING THE PROGRAMMING
If you want to cancel or change the programmed time, then press “AUTO” once
again. The left control light is ashing. Now you could change the programmed
time and conrm again by pressing “AUTO”, or you wait until the control light goes
out. Now no time has been programmed.
