INITIAL OPERATION
IMPORTANT!
When water is on the display, it does not work. Make sure that the display is
always dry.
CAUTION
Observe the following safety instructions to prevent hazards and material dam-
age:
• Never ll the electric kettle with water over the maximum mark. Potential effer-
vescence may lead to injuries.
• Exception is only 40 deg. C and 60 deg. C temperature as the maximum mark
can be exceeded here.
• Avoid touching the outer wall of the unit as this may become hot.
• Risk of scalding by escaping steam.
• Get hold of the unit at the grab handle only.
• Switch on the unit only after having lled in the water. Use cold tap water only.
• Make sure that the unit is used only in combination with the base station pro-
vided. Never use the base station for another purpose.
USE OF ELECTRIC KETTLE
Take the base station and
wind up the cable as far
as possible.
• Insert the plug into the
socket.
• The display lights up
briey, and goes off
again.
