Important
Make sure you do not exceed the internal maxi-
mum lling level mark.
Fill the unit so that the water level is denitely
between the minimum and maximum indicator
line.
Close the lid and put the unit back onto the
base station.
Plug the plug into the electric socket.
Push the on/off switch.
The unit is now switched on.
As soon as boiling stops, the unit automati-
cally shuts off.
The indicator light extinguishes.
If desired, you can press the on/off switch
again to boil the water once more. However,
before doing that, please wait about 30 sec.
after the unit automatically shut itself off.
Lime lter
The removable lime lter prevents lime scale
being poured out.
Dry running and overheating protection
This unit is equipped with a dry running and
overheating protection system. If you ever op-
erate the unit without any water or with too
little water, the unit shuts itself off. Wait a mo-
ment until the unit has cooled off. Fill the unit
with water and continue as usual.
Lift-off shut-off
If you happen to lift the unit off the base sta-
tion while boiling, the unit shuts itself off. This
is the so-called lift-off shut-off.
Cleaning
First pull the plug out of the electric socket
and let the unit cool off.
Clean the exterior of the unit with a soft,
moist cloth. If heavily soiled, you can use a
mild detergent.
