When mounting the outdoor unit on a roof, be
sure the roof will support the unit’s weight.
Properly selected isolation is recommended to
prevent sound or vibration transmission to the
building structure.
• Maximum line length = 100 feet.
• Maximum vertical length = 50 feet.
• Compressor crankcase heat is required for line
lengths over 50 feet.
• Use only the line diameters indicated in Table
5.1.
