  The Gravely Lawn Mower engine might not start due to several reasons. The safety interlock system could be preventing the start if the shift lever isn't in neutral, the key isn't in the On position, or the Power Take Off (PTO) isn't Off. Another reason could be an empty or contaminated fuel tank, which requires adding or replacing the fuel. A clogged or damaged air cleaner can also prevent the engine from starting, requiring cleaning or replacement of the filter element. In case of Safety Interlock System malfunction you should see your Dealer for repairs. Finally, a dirty or damaged spark plug can cause starting issues.
