1. Remove plastic boot from negative
battery terminal and discard.
2. Remove hardware from negative (black)
battery cable. DO NOT discard hardware.
3. Secure negative battery cable to negative
(open) battery terminal with hardware
removed in previous step.
4. Models 991254, 991256, 991258,
991260, 991262, 991264 Only: Rotate
ROPS to operating position and secure
with lock pins. See Position ROPS on
page 17.
5. Pull transaxle bypass levers out to
disengage transaxles. See Figure 8.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to pull bypass levers
out on each side of unit.
6. Release parking brake. See Figure 9.
7. Push unit off crate.
8. Engage parking brake.
9. Lift discharge chute up slightly and rotate
down into operating position. See
Figure 10.
