Important buttons on your Jitterbug Smart
A) Volume Button: PRESS upper end of button to
increase volume, PRESS the lower end to decrease
volume
B) Power/Lock Button: PRESS and release to lock your
phone, HOLD DOWN to power your phone on or off
C) Back Button: TAP to return to the previous screen
D) Home Button: TAP to return to the home screen
E) 5Star Button: PRESS and HOLD to get help in any
unsafe or uncertain situation (requires Health &
Safety package)
IMPORTANT: Locking your phone will help
increase battery life and prevent accidental calls.

Making a Phone Call

Enter Number and Call

Input the 10-digit number and tap the CALL button.

Sending a Text Message

Enter Recipient and Message

Enter the number, type the message, and tap Send.

Tap to focus, then tap the shutter button to capture.

Adding a New Contact

Enter Contact Details

Input name and number, then tap 'Next Step'.

Connect to Network

Select network name and enter password to connect.

Choose PIN Lock Type

Tap 'Screen lock' and select 'PIN'.

Require PIN at Startup

Choose whether to require PIN upon device startup.

Enter a 4-digit PIN and re-enter to confirm.

Your PIN lock is active; tap HOME to exit.

Choose Pattern Lock Type

Tap 'Screen lock' and select 'Pattern'.

Require Pattern at Startup

Choose whether to require pattern upon device startup.

Draw and Confirm Pattern

Draw a pattern connecting at least four dots, then confirm.

Pattern Lock Setup Complete

Your pattern lock is active; tap HOME to exit.

Select Lock Screen

Tap 'Lock screen' to configure screen security.

Choose Password Lock Type

Tap 'Screen lock' and select 'Password'.
