OPERATION MODE SELECTION
Press the Mode (
on the remote)
button to select an operation mode from the following options : Auto,
Cool, Energy Saver, Dry or Fan. The corresponding indicator will light up on the control panel.
Auto : Monitors the room’s ambient temperature and humidity level, and automatically adjusts to
provide comfortable room temperature.
Cool : Cools the room to the desired temperature as well as remove moisture from the air.
Dry : Reduces humidity in the air. Fan speed cannot be adjusted in this mode.
Fan : Circulates uncooled air through the room.
Energy Saving : Adjusts its own operation to achieve energy-saving performance.
SLEEP FUNCTION (remote control only)
Press the
button on the remote control to activate or deactivate this function. When activated, the unit
will automatically increase the setpoint temperature by 2° after the rst hour and by another 2° after the
second hour. This function can be used in Cool, Energy Saver and Dry operation modes.
I FEEL FUNCTION (remote control only)
Press the
button on the remote control to activate or deactivate this function. When activated, the
remote control will serve as the ambient temperature sensor instead of the window unit in order to offer
better comfort in the area surrounding the user. If there is a power outage, this function will need to be
reactivated as it is not memorized by the system.
AUTOMATIC OSCILLATION FUNCTION (remote control only)
Press the
button on the remote control to activate or deactivate the automatic oscillation of the
louvers.
NOTE : SWING FUNCTION IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS MODEL.
DISPLAY SCREEN SETTING (Remote control only)
Press the
button on the remote control to turn the control panel display screen on or off.
TEMPERATURE DISPLAY SETTING (°F OR °C)
After turning the unit off, press the
and Mode (
on the remote) buttons simultaneously to switch the
temperature display between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
FILTER CHECK REMINDER RESETTING (control panel only)
When the air conditioner has operated for 250 accumulative hours, the Filter Check
indicator will turn
on to remind the user to clean the dust lter. After the lter has been cleaned, press and hold the Timer
and buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to reset the accumulative operation time of the lter to 0
and to turn off the Filter Check indicator.
