A Series Inverter Modular Air-cooled Chiller (Heat Pump)
Symptoms Probable causes Recommended action
Shutdown against low
pressure protection of
the
compressor
1. The electrostatic expansion valve is
faulty.
2. The low pressure cuto󰀨 is faulty.
3. Refrigerant is insu󰀩cient.
4. The entering chilled water
temperature is 5°C lower than the
rated.
5. The chilled water ow is too low.
1. Replace the coils or even the
valve body.
2. Check the low pressure
cuto󰀨.
3. Check and charge
refrigerant.
4. Check if the chilled water is
down-temperature.
5. Adjust the chilled water ow.
Failed startup of the
compressor
1. The overcurrent relay tripped o󰀨
and the fuse was burnt out.
2. The control circuit was open.
3. There is no current.
4. Low/high pressure protection.
5. The contact coils is burnt out.
6. The water ow is cut o󰀨.
7. The wireless controller raised the
alarm signal. ON/ OFF time setting by
the wireless controller is incorrect.
