EN
OPERATION
BEFORE STARTING
Before starting the engine, add 0.4 litres of oil
Once the machine has been congured correctly, start the engine as follows:
1. Press 5/6 consecutive times the push button fuel as shown in
the picture (if it is installed), in order to ll up the carburettor
and facilitate the cold start up. If you overll the carburettor,
the left over fuel would overow the carburettor gasket by
the conduct intended for this purpose and the motor would
not start due to ooding. Should this be the case take out the
spark plug and * pull the manual starter to remove the excess
fuel in the cylinder and then put the spark plug again.
* The excess fuel will come out by the spark plug
lodging; do not stand in front of it before performing this operation.
2. Hold the control lever of the motor by the handle.
3. Pull the starter cord as appropriate.
The mower motor will start to work as soon as the starter
cord will be pulled. Please note that the mower will not work
if the control lever of the motor is not held against the upper
handle, as this is a security feature of the mower.
Petrol is highly ammable.
Keep petrol in a large drum especially made for this purpose.
Fill up the deposit with a funnel.
Fill up the tank with petrol and oil before starting the engine. Never open the fuel tank cap to
add petrol whilst the engine is on or may still be hot.
Do not start the engine if there is petrol spillage around the area. Use the machine far from
where petrol might have been spilled and avoid any contact with a hot source whilst the spilled
petrol is being evaporated completely.
Press the fuel tank cap and close the large drum hermetically.
