Battery Replacement
1. Remove the leads from the circuit. Turn the unit OFF, and place the protector over the
probe tips.
2. Insert a screwdriver or coin into the slot of the battery compartment, located in the
bottom of the unit. Turn counterclockwise until the dot on the cover lines up with the
“open” dot on the unit, and carefully push the battery compartment out.
3. Replace the batteries (observe polarity).
4. Slide the battery compartment back into the unit, keeping the dot on the cover aligned
with the “open” dot on the unit. Press and turn clockwise until the dot on the cover lines
up with the “close” dot on the unit.
Before opening the case, remove the leads from the circuit and shut off the unit.
Failure to observe this warning can result in severe injury or death.
