Why does my GreenWorks Pro GPW 2300 motor buzz but not run?
    • N
      Nicholas ThompsonAug 6, 2025
If the motor of your GreenWorks Pro Pressure Washer buzzes but fails to run, verify that only the pressure washer is running on the circuit, as the supply voltage might be below the minimum. The system might have residual pressure; turn the unit “OFF”, squeeze the trigger on the spray wand to release pressure, then turn the unit “ON”. Voltage loss due to an extension cord could also be the issue; unplug any extension cords and plug the unit directly into the outlet. Also, residual friction among components might be the reason. To fix this, disconnect the water supply and power ON for 2 to 3 seconds, repeat a couple of times or until the motor starts.

How to troubleshoot GreenWorks Pro Pressure Washer motor that will not start?
    • C
      Cynthia RamirezAug 17, 2025
If the GreenWorks Pro Pressure Washer motor won't start, make sure the On/Off switch is in the “ON” (|) position. Also, verify that the power cord is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet. If it still doesn't start, the pressure washer circuit breaker might have tripped; allow it to cool, and then restart the unit. Another reason may be that the power switch is ON; however, the gun trigger is not squeezed ON. To fix this, with the power switch ON, push in on the gun trigger, which will engage the AUTO ON switch.

What to do if GreenWorks Pro GPW 2300 does not reach high pressure?
    • T
      tara02Aug 29, 2025
If your GreenWorks Pro Pressure Washer isn't reaching high pressure, the diameter of the garden hose might be too small; replace it with a 1” (25 mm) or 5/8” (16 mm) garden hose. Check the garden hose for kinks, leaks, and blockages, as a restricted water supply can cause this issue. Ensure that the water source is fully open to provide enough water supply. Also, make sure that a pressure tip has been installed on the wand assembly. Another possible reason is a clogged water inlet filter; remove the filter and rinse it in warm water.

Why does the GreenWorks Pro GPW 2300 Pressure Washer output pressure vary high and low?
    • I
      iguzmanNov 23, 2025
If the output pressure of your GreenWorks Pro Pressure Washer varies, it could be due to several reasons. Ensure there is enough inlet water supply by fully turning on the water and checking the garden hose for kinks, leaks, or blockages. The pump might be sucking air; check that hoses and fittings are airtight and purge the pump by turning the machine “OFF” and squeezing the trigger gun until a steady flow of water emerges through the spray tip. Also, the water inlet filter could be clogged; remove the filter and rinse it in warm water. Finally, verify that only the pressure washer is running on the circuit, as a low supply voltage can cause pressure variations. Another possible reason is a calcified gun, hose, or power spray tip. To fix this, run distilled vinegar through the detergent t...
