  Several factors can prevent your GreenWorks Pro Pressure Washer motor from starting. Ensure the power switch is in the “ON” ( | ) position and the power cord is securely connected to a power supply. Try a different electrical outlet to rule out insufficient power. If the circuit breaker is tripped, let it cool down before restarting. Also, make sure to pull the spray gun trigger while the power switch is on.

  If your GreenWorks Pro Pressure Washer motor buzzes but doesn't start, ensure that only the pressure washer is running on the circuit to avoid low supply voltage. You can also turn "OFF" the machine, pull the spray gun trigger to release pressure, and then turn the machine back "ON". If you are using an extension cord, disconnect it and connect the machine directly into the outlet. If the pressure washer has not been used for a long period, call customer service. If the unit emits a humming noise, disconnect the water supply, power "ON" the machine for 2 to 3 seconds, and repeat this a couple of times or until the motor starts.

Also, make sure that the hoses and fitting are air-tight. Turn "OFF" machine and purge pump by squeezing trigger gun until a steady flow of water comes out the spray tip. Clean the water intake filter by removing it and rinsing it in warm water. Verify that only the pressure washer is running on the circuit. If the gun, hose or nozzle are calcified, run distilled vinegar through the detergent tank.

  If your GreenWorks Pro Pressure Washer isn't reaching high pressure, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure you are using a 1” (25 mm) or 5/8” (16 mm) garden hose. Check the garden hose for kinks, leaks, or blockages that may be restricting the water supply. Fully open the water supply. Ensure the spray tip is properly installed onto the spray wand. Lastly, check the water intake filter for clogs and rinse it in warm water if needed.
