How to fix Greystone Ranges area surface burners that will not ignite?
- MMrs. Valerie LaraAug 5, 2025
If the surface control knob on your Greystone Range isn't fully rotated to the HI position, the burners may not ignite. Ensure the gas valve is open; if not, open it. Clogged burners can also prevent ignition, so turn off the burner and clean the ports and slots with a small wire, toothbrush, or needle. Low gas levels can be a factor, so refill or replace the gas tank. Finally, moisture on the burner can hinder ignition; dry the burner thoroughly before attempting to use it.
