Why is my Grill'D Aurora Heater not heating up my sauna room?
    • J
      James LaneJul 29, 2025
Several factors could be at play. The sauna room might be too large for the heater's capacity. Also, the thermal insulation of the room might not meet the necessary requirements. Check that the heater capacity matches the size of the sauna and the thermal insulation complies with requirements. Insufficient chimney draft, low quality or wet combustion material, or a blockage in the chimney or flue channels of the heater can also be causes. Perform maintenance and check combustion material for compliance.

How to fix stones in Grill'D Aurora Heater that don't heat up?
    • Y
      ydelacruzAug 6, 2025
Several factors can cause this problem. The sauna room might be too small for the heater's capacity, causing the room to heat up faster than the stones. Also, there might be insufficient chimney draft, low quality or wet combustion material, or a blockage in the chimney or flue channels. The stones may be laid incorrectly, or there can be stone chips. Check that the compliance of the heater capacity against the sauna size. Remove stone chips and replace them with intact stones. Replace the stones with diameters less than the ones specified in Table 1 with larger ones.

What to do if smoke enters the sauna when using my Grill'D Aurora Heater?
    • A
      Allison LivingstonAug 13, 2025
If smoke is entering the sauna, several issues could be the cause. There might be a blockage in the chimney or flue channels, so perform maintenance. The chimney height might be insufficient, or it's located near a high obstacle; consider extending the chimney stack. Cold air in the chimney could also be a factor; insulate the chimney stack with a non-combustible heat-insulation material. Check combustion material for compliance with the requirements, as low quality or wet material can cause this issue. Finally, the chimney might be installed incorrectly; ensure it meets the manufacturer’s requirements.

Why does my Grill'D Heater smell during operation?
    • N
      Nicholas BowersAug 20, 2025
Odors during heater operation can arise from a couple of sources. There might be leftover industrial oil on the heater surface, or the odor could be coming from the heat-resistant enamel. Also, when heating up, the heater can enhance odors already present in the air, even if they don't originate from the sauna or the heater itself.
