The Grillo VOLTIQ Electric BBQ (Code VAN20030) is an outdoor cooking appliance designed for integration into a Grillo outdoor kitchen. It is intended for household or similar applications, including use in restaurants or hotels, but is strictly for outdoor use and not certified for industrial purposes or on-board ship. The appliance is designed to cook food and should not be used to burn charcoal or similar combustible fuels. It is not suitable for locations with corrosive or explosive atmospheres.
The appliance is heavy, weighing approximately 40 kg, and requires two trained and experienced persons for moving, installation, or removal. Hot surfaces are present during operation, and users are warned not to touch them. Children are prohibited from playing with the appliance, and cleaning or user maintenance must not be performed by children. Persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, should not use this appliance.
The Grillo VOLTIQ is designed to be installed in a worktop within a designated outdoor kitchen cabinet supplied by Grillo, which provides additional protection. It is crucial to ensure that ventilation openings in both the appliance and its enclosure are not obstructed. While rated IPX4 for rain protection, it should not be sprayed with a hose or pressure washer and must be protected against floodwater or flash floods. The appliance requires a 2-person lift for installation and removal and should only be handled by Grillo-approved installers and technicians. The rear of the BBQ can become very hot, so the kitchen layout should prevent accidental touching. Other surfaces can also become warm. The barbecue must not be used inside a combustible worktop or cupboard, only within the supplied Grillo unit. It is essential to maintain a safe distance from flammable materials (e.g., timber, plastic cladding, thatched roofs, living walls, insulation) to prevent fire hazards. The supply cord must not be trapped, damaged, or stretched.

The appliance features simple controls with two control knobs to adjust power to the two heating elements. The "Off" position is clearly indicated. Turning the knobs clockwise increases the grilling setting. The upper knob controls the right-hand side of the grill, and the lower knob controls the left-hand side, as indicated by graphics beneath each knob. The appliance includes two heat deflectors and a removable inner drip tray inside a drawer, along with the grill plate.
The appliance should be operated by a competent person who ensures that vulnerable individuals do not come into contact with hot surfaces. All surfaces that come into contact with food must be cleaned regularly. Food should be properly cooked, using a thermometer probe if necessary. Users may need time and research to determine appropriate cooking times for different foods.
Before any cleaning, maintenance, or servicing, the appliance must be unplugged and allowed to cool down completely. For cleaning, use a damp cloth with water or mild household cleaners. Do not use a hose or pressure washer, or any abrasive cleaners that could scratch or damage surfaces. The removable drip tray should be emptied and cleaned after each use to prevent fat buildup, which could cause a fire. The heat deflectors may have sharp edges, so gloves should be worn during handling. Do not immerse any parts in water except for the removable drip tray, grill plate, and heat deflectors. When not in use and completely cooled, the BBQ should be covered with a rain cover.

Grillo provides a 1-year warranty from the invoice date against defective materials and workmanship. This warranty is valid only if the product has not been modified, relocated, or changed. It does not apply outside the United Kingdom unless separate arrangements are made in writing. Corrosion and related damage may be excluded for kitchens installed in coastal areas. Grillo undertakes to rectify any material fault developing within the warranty period, excluding wearing parts, unfair wear and tear, or natural weathering and aging.
