6. CONTROLS
a. The appliance has very simple controls
with two control knobs for adjusting the
power to the two elements, like shown
here.
b. The “O” position is clearly indicated.
c. The setting for grilling is clockwise to the
right.
d. The upper knob controls the right-hand
side of the grill, and the lower knob
controls the left-hand side, as indicated by the graphic underneath
each knob.
7. FOOD SAFETY
a. The appliance should be operated by a competent person who
ensures that younger and vulnerable people do not come into
contact with any hot surfaces.
b. Regularly clean all surfaces that can come into contact with food.
c. Ensure all food is properly cooked, using a thermometer probe if
necessary.
d. As with all appliances it may take time and research to know how
long is needed to cook dierent foods.
8. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
a. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintenance or
servicing and ensure the appliance has completely cooled down.
b. For cleaning use a damp cloth with water or mild household #
cleaners.
c. Do not use a hose or pressure washer on the appliance; or any
abrasive cleaners that could scratch or damage inside or outside
surfaces.
d. The appliance contains 2 heat deflectors and a removable inner drip
tray inside the drawer, and the grill plate. The drip tray should be
emptied and the parts should be cleaned after each use to avoid fat
built up which could cause a fire.
e. Warning! Ensure the appliance has cooled down before touching
