Why is my Grizzly G0707 media spray intermittent or clogged?
    • A
      Ashley PowellJul 28, 2025
If you're experiencing intermittent, clogging, or no media spray from the blast gun, or notice striping on your workpiece with Grizzly Shot Blasting Machines, several factors could be at play. Start by checking for a clogged suction tube—clear it by covering the blast tip and pressing the foot pedal to purge the system with air pressure, repeating this periodically. Ensure you're using the correct, uncontaminated media. Inspect the blast tip for wear, rotating it to an unworn area if needed. Verify adequate air flow and pressure from your compressor, supply lines, and air dryers. Adjust the air regulator on the cabinet, checking for hose kinks or clogs. Avoid overloading the cabinet with media. If issues persist, disassemble, clean, and reseal the blast gun and foot valve.

What to do if the dust collector won't start on my Grizzly Shot Blasting Machines?
    • T
      Tammy LopezAug 6, 2025
If the dust collector won't start or the circuit breaker trips on your Grizzly Shot Blasting Machines, begin by inspecting the power cord for damage or looseness; re-secure or replace it as needed. Test the ON/OFF switch and replace it if faulty. Check if the circuit breaker/fuse has tripped, and if so, look for shorts, including in the motor brushes, replacing them if necessary before resetting the breaker. Examine the wiring for any open or shorted connections and repair them. If the issue continues, the motor brushes may be at fault and require replacement. As a last resort, test and replace the motor if it is faulty.

How to fix a dim lamp on Grizzly G0707?
    • K
      Kimberly PowellAug 18, 2025
If the lamp is dim or won't illuminate on your Grizzly Shot Blasting Machines, start by replacing both lamp bulbs, as one may be burned out. If that doesn't solve the problem, the ballast may be faulty and should be replaced. Test the ON/OFF switch and replace it if it's not working. Finally, check the wiring for any open or shorted connections and repair them.
