Application
Can be used in conjunction with:
Pressurised storage heaters
Thermally-controlled instantaneous heaters
Hydraulically-controlled instantaneous heaters
Operation with unpressurised storage heaters (open water
heaters) is not possible.
Safety notes
Installation is only possible in frost-free rooms.
Use only genuine replacement parts and accessories.
The use of other parts will result in voiding of the warranty
and the CE identification.
Technical data
Flow pressure:
- min. 0.05 MPa (0.5 bar)
- recommended 0.1 - 0.5 MPa (1 - 5 bar)
Operating pressure: max. 1 MPa (10 bar)
Test pressure: 1.6 MPa (16 bar)
If static pressures exceed 0.5 MPa (5 bar), a pressure-
reducing valve must be installed.
Avoid major pressure differences between hot and cold water
supply.
Flow rate at 0.3 MPa (3 bar) flow pressure: approx. 6 l/min
Hot water supply temperature: max. 70 °C
Recommended (energy economy): 60 °C
Voltage supply: 6V lithium battery type CR-P2
Automatische Sicherheitsabschaltung: 60 s
(5 - 420 s einstellbar)
Automatic safety shut-off: 60 s
(5 - 420 s adjustable)
Run-on time (0 - 10 s adjustable): 1 s
Reception range according to Kodak Gray Card,
grey side, 8x10", landscape (factory setting): approx. 13cm
Type of fitting protection: IP 59K
Water connection cold - right
hot - left

Flush pipes thoroughly before and after installation
(observe EN 806).
Operation
The infrared electronics emit invisible, pulsed light.
The sensor system is adjusted so that water flow is initiated
when the hands approach the vicinity of the spout.
When the hands are withdrawn from the vicinity of the spout,
water flow is stopped after 1 s (factory setting).
The range of the sensor system is dependent upon the
reflective properties of the detected object.
Automatic safety shut-off
After 60 s of continuous detection of an object, the infrared
electronics automatically stop the water flow.
Setting temperature limiter, see page 3, fig. [9] and [10].
This product conforms to the requirements of the
relevant EU directives.
