CONTROL
With
the
G6
on or off,
use
the
+-NOL
buttons
to
adjust
to
volume
levels
0-31 .
The
level number appears
in
the display.
EARPHONE SOCKET
AND
USING EARPHONES
(NOT
INCLUDED)
Turn
the volume down before wearing the earphones, then turn up
the volume
to
your liking.
Plug
them into the earphone socket on
the left side
of
the radio.
SELECTING FM,
AM,
SHORTWAVE
AND
AIRCRAFT BAND
When listening
to
FM,
shortwave or Aircraft Band, fully extend the
telescopic antenna. It need
not
be extended when listening
to
AM
stations (the
AM
ferrite-bar antenna
is
located inside the
G6).
Turn
on the
G6.
To
go
to
the band
of
your choice
press
the
FM
BAND
button, sequentially
press
the
MW
(AM)/LW/AIR button or
sequentially
press
the
METERBAND
button
to
cycle through the
SW
meterbands.
TUNING
IN STATIONS
Turn
on the G6. Stations
are
tuned
with
the AUTO t +Buttons,
Tuning-Knob, Direct Frequency Entry and Auto-Search.
