Function Description
The GRUNDIG VCC 7070 is a multi-cyclonic vacuum cleaner engineered for efficient dust and particle removal from various surfaces, including carpets, smooth floors, upholstery, and stairs. Its multi-cyclonic technology ensures constant high suction power, preventing loss of suction as the dust container fills. The appliance features a telescopic metal tube for individual height adjustment, a high-quality multi-floor brush with lightweight rollers, and specialized nozzles for crevices and upholstery. The HEPA filter system is designed to capture over 99.9% of dust particles, including viruses, mite eggs, pollen, and smoke particles, contributing to cleaner air.

Usage Features
The vacuum cleaner is designed for user convenience and effective cleaning.

The multi-floor brush (G) or other accessories (R, S) attach to the lower end of the telescopic tube.

- Operation: The appliance is switched on/off via button (O). Suction power can be adjusted using the power adjustment controller (N). The suction control (B) on the handle allows for quick adjustments, with maximum suction achieved when fully closed. This feature is useful for delicate surfaces or shag pile carpets.
- Portability: The vacuum cleaner can be moved using the carrying handle (I), but it should be switched off before carrying.
- Accessories: Includes a multi-floor brush (G) with a switch (H) for different floor types, an upholstery nozzle (R) for fabrics, and a crevice nozzle (S) for tight spaces.
- Troubleshooting: In case of overheating, the thermal cut-out will automatically switch off the motor. Users should disconnect the appliance, check for blockages in hoses/tubes or dirty filters, clean them, and allow the motor to cool for about an hour before restarting. If large objects block the air channels, the base body plug cover can be opened to remove them.
- Storage: A convenient parking slot at the rear allows for storing the floor tool and hose. The appliance should be stored base down in a cool, dry place, unplugged, and out of reach of children.
Maintenance Features
Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for maintaining the vacuum cleaner's performance and extending its lifespan.
- Safety First: Always unplug the appliance from the wall socket before any cleaning or maintenance.
- Dust Container (P): The dust container should be emptied every time it is cleaned. To remove, press the dust container button (L). To empty, hold it over a bin and press the quick release button (M). Ensure the lid clicks shut when closing.
- Cyclone Separator: After emptying the dust container, turn its head anti-clockwise to unlock and remove the cyclone separator. Clean both the cyclone separator and the dust container with a soft brush and a damp cloth. Ensure they are completely dry before re-inserting. Do not submerge the cyclone separator in water.
- Motor Protective Filter: Remove the dust container (P) by pressing button (L). Press the latch to remove the motor protective filter cover and pull out the filter. Separate the foam filter from the mesh cassette. Tap the filters to remove excess dust, then wash them in warm water (max. 40°C) and air dry for 24 hours. Do not use detergents, boiling water, washing machines, or hair dryers. Ensure the filters are completely dry before re-inserting.
- HEPA Filter: Turn the HEPA filter cover (Q) anti-clockwise to unlock and remove it. Take out the HEPA filter, tap it to remove excess dust, then wash it in warm water (max. 40°C), rinse thoroughly, and air dry for 24 hours. Do not use detergents, boiling water, washing machines, or hair dryers. The HEPA filter must be completely dry and inserted before operating the appliance to prevent motor damage.
- General Care: Do not operate the appliance without all filters and the dust container in place. Only use original GRUNDIG accessories for replacement parts.
