Introduction
To enjoy your new appliance as long as possible, please
read carefully the Operating Instructions and the attached
safety instructions before using it. Further, we recommend
keeping the Operating Instructions to recall the product
features in the future. Within the continuous product
development, we reserve the right to make technical
changes to improve it.
Appliance
GPS 3.6-1,5 V LI-ION CORDLESS SET OF GARDEN TOOLS
Complete with the original high-quality Güde battery. Can
be used as grass and shrub shears due to the simple
exchange without any tools being necessary. Battery (3-5
hours) included.
Use as designated
The appliance has been designed to cut lawn edges and
smaller grass plots by DIY persons and gardeners.
The appliance may not be used to grind composting
materials as persons and pr operty could get damaged.
The appliance may only be used in accordance with the
use as designated principles. Any other use is a use in
conict with the designation. The user/operator, not the
manufacturer, is liable for any resulting damage and
injuries of any type.

Warranty
The warranty period is 12 months for industrial use and 24
months for consumers. The warranty starts on the day of
purchase of the appliance.
The warranty exclusively applies to material or
manufacturing defects. The original proof of purchase
including the date of purchase must be submitted when
applying a claim in the warranty period.
The warranty does not cover any unauthorised use such
as appliance overload, violent use, damage by a foreign
person or an undesirable item. The failure to follow the
Operating Instructions and assembly instructions and
common wear and tear are also excluded from the
warranty.
General safety instructions
Check the appliance whenever it is to be used. If the safety
equipment and/or blades are damaged or worn out, the
appliance may not be used. The safety instructions must
always be followed. Use the appliance only for the
purposes specied in the Operating Instructions. Safety in
the place of your work is your responsibility.
Before starting the appliance, check the area to be cut.
Remove any undesirable items you nd. Be careful about
undesirable items during your work. If you hit any obstacle
when cutting, switch the appliance o (release the switch)
and remove the obstacle.
If the blades are blocked, switch the appliance o and
remove the defect (thick branch, undesirable item) using a
blunt item. Never use ngerslive blades may cause
serious injury. Remove the battery before removing the
defect.
Blades run down for a while after switching
the appliance o˜ !
Check the electric cable at regular intervals for damage
and wear (fragile cable).The cable may only be used when
in a perfect state.
Work under good visibility only.
Stand steadily when working. Be careful when reversing -
risk of tripping! If you interrupt your work and wish to
continue in any other place, the appliance must be
switched o before moving to such place.
Never use the appliance when raining or in moist
conditions.
Protect the charger and the cable against damage and
sharp edges. Any damaged cabl e must immediately be
replaced by an electrician.
Never use the appliance when raining. Do not let the
appliance standing outdoors. The appliance may not be
used
in wet conditions. Wear ing safety gloves is
recommended when working with the appliance.
Wear suitable working clothes such as gloves and non-slip
shoes. Do not wear wide pi eces of clothing. Long hair
should be protected by a hairnet.
Avoid abnormal body posture and provide stability.
Make sure there is a safe distance between the appliance
and your body when the appliance is on.
Make sure there are no persons and animals in the place
of your work (turning radius). No cables maybe present in
the cutting area.
Use the appliance only when in a proper state, ready for
operation.
Check the blades at regular intervals for any damage. If
necessary, make sure the appliance is professionally
repaired by the customer service or a qualied workshop.
Keep the appliance in a dry place, inaccessible to children.
If the appliance is not being used, it must be tted with a
protective cover included in the supply to prevent any
accidental contact with the blades.
The appliance may not be overloaded. Do not use the
appliance for works for which it has not been designed.
The appliance must be regularly checked and serviced.
Damaged blades to be always replaced in pairs. If the
appliance is damaged by impact (falling on hard su
rface,
etc.), it must immediately be checked by an expert.
Treat your appliance carefully. Keep it clean and sharp to
make sure cutting is ecient and safe. Follow the
maintenance and cleaning regulations.
The appliance has not been designed to be used
by persons (including children) with physical, sensory
or mental limitation. Persons lacking experience in or
knowledge of the appliance may not work with the
appliance either.
Batteries to be charged in chargers recommended by
the manufacturer only.
Risk of re for a charger suitable for a certain type of batteries
if used with other batteries.
Only speciÿed batteries to be used in electric tools.
Keep battery not being used out of reach of o˛ ce clips,
coins, keys, nails, screws and other small metal items
able to cause bridging. Short-circuit between battery
contacts may cause burns or ÿre .
Fluid may leak when the appliance is used improperly.
Avoid contacting the ˝ uid. Rinse with water in case of
accidental contact. Seek medical advice when eyes are
a˜ ected.
Fluid leaked from the battery may irritate the skin.

Unplug the appliance when removing defects and
before servicing the appliance.
