7. Carefully disconnect RED wire #1 or #2 and GRN wires #17 and #18 that
run between the Servo-loop and PDCC Comparator modules.
8. Carefully disconnect WHT wire #4 that runs between the Servo-loop
module and the Rs C1 terminal on the front panel.
9. Carefully disconnect YEL wire #7 and RED wire #11 that run between the
Servo-loop and Primary Current Drive modules.
10. Disconnect the wires that run between the Transformer and Servo-loop
modules at TB4-2 through TB4-12 on the Transformer Module.
11. Remove the Servo-loop module (carefully lift up and remove).
7.1.4.4. PDCC Comparator Module (19121) Removal Procedure
1. Carefully free the PDCC Comparator module from the unit's frame (remove
the 6-32 x 3/8" fh screws (6), located under the unit, that secure the module
to the base plate).
2. Free the front panel from the unit's frame as follows :
i) remove the 6-32 x 3/8" fh screws (4), located under the unit, that
secure the panel to the base plate.
ii) remove the 10-32 x 1/2" polished oh screws (2) that secure the panel
to the side panels).
3. Remove the left side panel (when viewed from the front of the instrument)
as follows :
i) remove the 6-32 x 3/8" fh screws (5), that secure the panel to the
base plate.
ii) remove the special 6-32 x 3/8" fh screw that secures the panel to the
Nanovolt CPU/Power Supply Bracket.
iii) remove the 10-32 x 1/2 screws that secure the rear panel to the right
side panel.
4. Disconnect the coax cable from W1 on the Magnetic Modulator PCB
(19110).
5. Disconnect P1 from J1 on the Magnetic Modulator PCB (19110).
6. Disconnect P3 from the Relay PCB (19109).
