Available functions (menu page 3 of 3), last menu page.
Function key <Fn-1> sets the calibration point for the chart recorder output. Select
from <Cal_Step> to force a preset step change in the chart recorder output; <Cal_
+FS> set positive full scale; <Cal_ch 0> set zero; <Cal_ch -FS> set negative full
scale and <Cal_Datum> to set the chart recorder output to zero at the present
displayed measurement value. Scrolling through the options using this function key
can be done at any time. However, the chart recorder will not respond to the
windowed value until the <Chart_Cal> function is made active in the window for
function key Fn-2. The option <Cal_Step> allows a user to quickly check the
sensitivity of the chart recorder plot. This check is only active when <Chart_Cal> is
active and causes a preset level to be sent to the chart recorder output. The level of
the step is determined from the SOFCAL CHART menu selection (see <Chart>
menu Fn-3 (Sofcal_MAIN)). The engineering unit of measure for the step uses the
global setting from the set <ppm>, <ratio>, <Celsius>, <Fahrenheit>, <kelvin>,
<Volts>, and <Ohms>.
Function key <Fn-2> toggles the chart recorder output mode between <Chart Meas>
and <Chart Cal>. When <Chart Meas> is active the chart recorder output is scaled
to follow the measured data value. When <Chart Cal> is active, the options available
through function key Fn-1 are active and the windowed value is sent to the chart
recorder output.
Function key <Fn-3> toggles the quick measure mode on <Quick ON> and off
<Quick OFF>. The quick measure function disables the internal software filters that
