Metal filter
Removing the filter
Fire hazard! Grease residues decrease
the extractor’s performance and in-
crease the fire hazard.
The metal filter must be cleaned regu-
larly to prevent a fire hazard. The
grease filters must be cleaned at least
once a fortnight.
Reach into the extraction vents with
your fingers on the LEFT and RIGHT (c)
and pull the filter holder (d) forwards.
The filter holder can then be removed
like a drawer. Grip the metal filter (e) by
the handles and pull backwards until the
magnetic contact releases. The filter
holder and metal filter are suitable for
cleaning in a dishwasher (see the sec-
tion "Cleaning the filters"). To install, pro-
ceed in reverse order.
Cleaning the filters
The metal filter is best cleaned in a dish-
washer or with a mild dishwashing
agent. The manufacturer accepts no
liability whatsoever for any discolour-
ation caused by the use of aggressive
dishwashing agents. Temperatures ex-
ceeding 55 degrees must be avoided in
all cases.
Caution: Do not use three-phase clean-
ing agents or multiphase cleaning
agents. Do not clean the metal filters in
an industrial dishwater. Cleaning with
aggressive agents such as petrol, ace-
tone, tri chlor ethylene, etc., will destroy
the filters!
