DR/2400 Lamp Module Replacement
Replacing the Lamp Module
Turn off the power switch and remove the cell holder. Disconnect the power
supply and the computer/printer cable.
Note: Some
internal
components may
be damaged by static
electricity. Use static
discharge protection.
Removing the Batteries
Place the instrument upside down on a padded surface. Depress the ribbed tab
and slide the battery cover off of the instrument. Remove the batteries.

1. Use the T10 L-Key supplied in the Lamp
Replacement Module Kit (Cat. No. 59456-00 or
59648-01) to remove the two Torx fasteners that
secure the battery compartment.

2. Lift the battery compartment until it just clears the
instrument cabinet. Without twisting or straining
the power ribbon, rest the battery compartment on
the cabinet bottom.
3. Remove the two Torx fasteners that secure the
Lamp Module.
Note: Set the screws aside before removing the module to
eliminate the possibility of dropping the screws into the slot
for the lamp module.
