What to do if the sample volume is not correct in my Hach Recording Equipment?
- CChristopher SingletonAug 2, 2025
If the sample volume of your Hach Recording Equipment is not correct, several factors could be at play. First, repeat the volume calibration process. Ensure that the correct tube length is specified in the sampler program. Make sure the intake tube is as vertical and short as possible to ensure complete purging. If the strainer is not fully submerged, consider installing a shallow depth strainer. Replace any worn pump tubing or roller assembly. If the liquid sensor is disabled, turn it on and perform a volume calibration. If the liquid sensor isn't operating correctly, calibrate it using the same liquid being sampled.
