The cutting tool could be too small; consider using a larger cutting tool and a slower feed rate. Overheating can also cause breakage, so use coolant or oil if appropriate for the application. Reduce the depth of cut and allow chips to clear. Finally, if the spindle is extended too far down, fully retract it and raise the table to increase rigidity.

Finally, make sure the gibs in the table aren't too loose; tighten them if necessary.
