Why does my Hague Water System water taste bad?
    • J
      Jessica HuffmanAug 25, 2025
If your Hague Water System's water tastes bad, it could be due to several reasons. There might be an increase in product TDS, or the Carbon Post-Filter could be exhausted, requiring replacement. The tank and appliance might be contaminated, in which case you should replace the Pre- and Post-Filter and sanitize the tank and appliance. The tank itself might be contaminated, so sanitize it. A tank diaphragm failure could also be the cause, requiring you to replace the tank and postfilter cartridges. Alternatively, the Carbon Post-Filter cartridge might not have been flushed completely, so flush one or two tanks of product water through the Post-Filter.

How to fix low flow rate from Hague WaterMax H6000 Water System spigot?
    • J
      Jorge MooreAug 26, 2025
Low flow rate from the spigot in your Hague Water System can be caused by low water production. Adjust the air pressure between 5 and 7 psi to resolve the issue if the tank lost air precharge. If the tank diaphragm slipped, replace the tank. A clogged Carbon Post-Filter can also reduce flow, so replace the Carbon Post-Filter cartridge. Ensure the tank valve is fully open, as a partially closed valve can restrict flow.

Why are my Hague WaterMax H6000 ice cubes cloudy?
    • M
      Marissa Harris MDAug 28, 2025
Cloudy ice cubes from your Hague Water System can be due to an increase in product TDS. Dissolved air in the feed water, which concentrates in the product water, can also cause this issue. Additionally, certain ice cube shapes trap more dissolved air, with smaller, rounded cubes appearing cloudier. To mitigate this, change the ice cube mold shape, make cubes manually if using an automatic ice maker, and let the water sit to release dissolved air before freezing.

What to do if Hague Water System filter leaks from housing?
    • P
      Patricia MurphyAug 29, 2025
If the Pre- or Post-Filter leaks from the housing in your Hague Water System, it may be due to a deformed or stretched O-Ring, or the housing not being tight enough. Try replacing the O-Ring and cleaning the seating surface, or tightening the housing.
