Why does my Hague Water System water taste bad?

  If your Hague Water System's water tastes bad, it could be due to several reasons. There might be an increase in product TDS, or the Carbon Post-Filter could be exhausted, requiring replacement. The tank and appliance might be contaminated, in which case you should replace the Pre- and Post-Filter and sanitize the tank and appliance. The tank itself might be contaminated, so sanitize it. A tank diaphragm failure could also be the cause, requiring you to replace the tank and postfilter cartridges. Alternatively, the Carbon Post-Filter cartridge might not have been flushed completely, so flush one or two tanks of product water through the Post-Filter.

Additionally, certain ice cube shapes trap more dissolved air, with smaller, rounded cubes appearing cloudier. To mitigate this, change the ice cube mold shape, make cubes manually if using an automatic ice maker, and let the water sit to release dissolved air before freezing.
