Installing Drain Pipes
Install the drain pipes according to the measurements given in the following gure.
• Flange positions for connecting the drain pipes.
• The size of drain opening
CAUTION
Install the drain pipe in accordance with the instructions in this installation Manual and keep the area warm enough
to prevent condensation.Problems with the piping may lead
to water leaks.
Be sure to properly insulate the drain pipes.
The position of the installed drain pipe should have a downward gradient of 1/100 or more.
Do not connect the drain pipe in which ammonia or other
types of gas affecting the unit is generated.

Please refer to the diagram and select drain pipe size according to drain opening inner diameter size.
(a) Drain piping should always be in a downhill grade (1/50-1/100) and avoid riding across an elevation or making
traps.
