  If the temperature in your Haier Freezer is not low enough, or the red light is on, first check if the temperature setting is low enough and turn the dial to a higher number if needed. If the freezer is in direct sunlight or close to a heat source, change its location. Also, if you have stored too much food at once, take some food out. Lastly, try to keep the door closed for longer periods.

Also, ensure food with a strong odor is tightly covered, using freezer bags if possible. The interior may require cleaning, so follow the ‘Care and Cleaning’ instructions. Finally, place an open box of baking soda inside the freezer, replacing it every 3 months.

Why does the compressor work continuously in my Haier HTF-319H?

  If the compressor in your Haier Freezer works continuously, it could be because the thermostat setting is too low. Try turning the dial to increase the temperature. Also, check if the quick freezing switch is on and the yellow lamp is lit. If it is, turn the quick freeze switch to its normal (off) position once the fast/quick freeze period has finished.

  If the green indicating light is off on your Haier Freezer, start by checking your main circuit to ensure power is available. Make sure the plug is properly inserted into the socket and the socket is switched on. If the fuse is blown or burnt, replace it with a 5 amp fuse. The indicating lamp itself might be out of use, in which case you should change the indicating lamp bulb. Also, check if a circuit breaker has tripped and reset it if necessary. If the cable is damaged, call an electrician to repair it.
