Overview

The HAISEN HD06VCRH is a microwave sensor designed for automatic lighting control, offering a range of customizable features and robust performance. This sensor integrates a daylight sensor, allowing for intelligent on/off control based on ambient light conditions. It supports remote control settings, providing flexibility in configuration, and comes with a 5-year limited warranty, ensuring reliability and longevity.

Function Description:

The primary function of the HD06VCRH is to automatically turn lights on and off based on motion detection and ambient light levels. It utilizes a microwave module for motion sensing, which can be integrated into lighting fixtures. The sensor's dual-PD technology incorporates a dusk/dawn sensor that can differentiate between natural and LED light, ensuring lights are only off when genuinely not needed.

With its "Daylight Priority" function, the HD06VCRH can distinguish between artificial and natural light brightness after installation. It automatically turns off the light when the ambient brightness exceeds a preset lux level. This feature requires the standby period to be infinite, the standby dimming level to be set at 10%, 20%, or 30%, and the daylight threshold to be set at 30Lux, 50Lux, 80Lux, or 120Lux.

The sensor supports various operational modes:

  • Automatic ON/OFF function: Lights turn on upon movement detection and turn off after people leave, suitable for corridors and staircases.
  • No daylight function: When the daylight threshold is set to "Disable," lights turn on with movement and turn off after a standby period, ideal for dim places like basement parking or underpasses.
  • Dimmable control/Corridor function: Upon motion detection, lights turn on to 100% brightness. After the last detection, if no motion is detected within the hold time, the light dims to a preset standby dimming level (10%, 20%, 30%, or 50%). After the standby period, the light turns off.

The device also includes a remote control (HD05R) for easy configuration. This remote allows users to:

  • Turn the light on or off.
  • Change between microwave sensor and PIR sensor functions (if applicable).
  • Reset settings to initial defaults (100% detection range, 5s hold time, no standby time, daylight threshold disabled).
  • Save and apply custom settings for detection range, hold time, standby dimming level, standby period, and daylight threshold.
  • Test the sensor in a 2-second hold time mode for commissioning.
  • Adjust parameters like detection area, hold time, power output (in 5% increments from 0% to 100%), daylight threshold, and standby dimming level.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Operating voltage: 12VDC
  • Operating current: 30mA±5%
  • Output: DIM 0-10V
  • Stand-by power: <0.5W
  • Detection area: 25%/50%/75%/100%
  • Hold time: 5s/30s/1min/3min/5min/10min/20min/30min
  • Daylight threshold: 2Lux/10Lux/30Lux/50Lux/80Lux/120Lux/Disable
  • Stand-by period: 0s/10s/30s/1min/5min/10min/30min/+∞
  • Stand-by dimming level: 10%/20%/30%/50%
  • Microwave frequency: 5750-5824MHz
  • Microwave power: <0.3mW
  • Mounting height: 15m/49.2ft (ceiling mounted)
  • Detection range: Max.Ø14m/45.92ft (ceiling mounted)
  • Operating temperature: -20°C~+60°C
  • Motion detection speed: 0.5~1.5m/s
  • IP rating: IP65
  • Warranty: 5 years

Usage Features:

  • Remote Control Setting: All parameters, including detection range, hold time, daylight threshold, standby period, and standby dimming level, can be easily adjusted using the HD05R remote control.
  • Plug & Play Design: The sensor module can be easily integrated into lighting fixtures. A cover with a humanoid icon indicates a built-in microwave module, while a plain cover indicates no sensor function. The bottom part of the sensor is designed to be always on the lighting fixtures, allowing for easy removal or placement of the module as needed without affecting the fixture's aesthetics.
  • Installation Flexibility: The sensor can be installed in most lamps, provided they do not have a full metal shell that would shield the detection surface. The microwave module must be completely exposed, and its detection surface should face the detection area.
  • Memory & Apply Mode: The remote allows users to save a set of parameters and then apply them to other sensors, streamlining the programming of multiple devices.
  • Isolated Setting Mode: This mode allows for individual sensor configuration, activating saved or factory default settings.

Maintenance Features:

  • Durable Design: With an IP65 rating, the sensor is protected against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for various indoor environments.
  • 5-Year Warranty: A comprehensive 5-year limited warranty provides peace of mind regarding the product's reliability.
  • Installation Precautions: To ensure optimal performance and longevity, the sensor should be installed by a qualified electrician with power off. It should be kept away from the driver to avoid interference and lamp flashing. Wiring must adhere strictly to the provided diagram to prevent short circuits.
  • Application Environment Guidelines: The sensor is suitable for indoor installation to prevent false triggers from external factors like rain, wind, or tree swing. It should not be installed in places with all four metal shelters and small spaces (e.g., galvanized-iron roofs) or mounted in a way that causes false triggers due to lamp shaking or machine vibration.
  • User Notes: Microwave signals can penetrate walls or glass thinner than 20cm but attenuate if thicker. The driver voltage should remain stable within 10%. Detection area is influenced by motion speed, mounting height, and movement volume. Testing should be conducted on sunny days without the lampshade to avoid affecting lux value readings.
