Why is there not enough water from my Halo Water Filtration System holding tank?
- RRyan HigginsNov 1, 2025
Several factors can cause insufficient water from the holding tank. The angle stop valve might be plugged or closed, so open or unclog it. The sediment/carbon prefilter or carbon post filter could be clogged, requiring replacement. Low incoming water pressure (below 40 psi) necessitates installing a booster pump. A fouled reverse osmosis membrane requires ensuring proper incoming water pressure and clearing any drain line clogs, followed by replacing the RO Membrane. Incorrect air pressure in the holding tank needs adjustment to between 5-7 PSI after emptying the tank. A ruptured air bladder means the holding tank must be replaced. Ensure the holding tank valve is open. If there's no water to drain, the drain flow restrictor or drain line might be clogged, requiring replacement or clearing...
