Turning ON/OFF: To turn on the device, press the power button once. The LED lights on the side will illuminate. To turn off, press and hold the power button for three seconds. The charger also has an auto on/off feature; it will automatically turn on when a device is plugged in and will shut off after 30 seconds of inactivity.

Checking Battery Level: Quickly press and release the power button to check the HALO charger's battery level. The LED battery indicator lights provide the following information:

  • One solid light: 0%-25% charged
  • Two solid lights: 26%-50% charged
  • Three solid lights: 51%-75% charged
  • Four solid lights: 76%-100% charged

Charging the HALO Pocket Power 6000 (Recharging the Charger Itself): To recharge the HALO charger, use the provided Standard USB to Micro USB cable. Plug the Micro USB tip into the charger's 5V/1A Micro Input port. Connect the standard USB end of the cable to a computer's USB port or an AC wall adapter that accepts a standard USB connection. The charger will automatically begin charging and should be charged for a full six hours until all four LED lights turn solid blue (no flashing).

Reading LED Battery Indicator While Charging: When the HALO charger is being recharged, the LED lights indicate the charging status:

  • First light blinking: 0%-25% charged
  • First light solid, second light blinking: 26%-50% charged
  • First two lights solid, third light blinking: 51%-75% charged
  • First three lights solid, fourth blinking: 76%-99% charged
  • All four lights solid: 100% fully charged

Charging an Electronic Device Using the 5V/1A Output Port: For devices with a Micro USB port, plug the Micro USB tip of the provided cable into the electronic device. Then, plug the Standard USB end of the cable into the HALO charger's 5V/1A Output port. Charging an Electronic Device Using the 5V/2A Output Port: The 5V/2A port charges devices faster than the 5V/1A port and is recommended for tablets and larger electronic devices. For Micro USB port devices, follow the same steps as for the 5V/1A port, but plug the Standard USB end of the cable into the HALO charger's 5V/2A OUT port. Similarly, if using your device's own charging cable, plug its Standard USB end into the HALO charger's 5V/2A USB output port.

Charging Two Electronic Devices Simultaneously: The HALO charger can charge two devices at once by utilizing both the 5V/1A Output port and the 5V/2A Output port. This requires using both the provided Standard USB to Micro USB cable and the charging cable that came with your personal electronic device.

Intelligent Recognition: The HALO charger features an intelligent recognition system for improved compatibility with various mobile phones. If a device does not charge when connected, restarting the HALO charger is recommended.
