HTHB-HAC Bottle Fillers are among the easiest to install on the market today. To
insure you install these models easily and correctly, PLEASE READ THESE
SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE STARTING THE INSTALLATION. CHECK
YOUR INSTALLATION FOR COMPLIANCE WITH PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL,
AND OTHER APPLICABLE CODES. After installation, leave these instructions with
the Fountain for future reference.

THIS IS AN INDOOR APPLICATION ONLY.
ALL SERVICE TO BE PERFORMED BY AN
AUTHORIZED SERVICE PERSON.
IMPORTANT! INSTALLER PLEASE NOTE.
THE GROUNDING OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT SUCH AS TELEPHONE, COMPUTERS, ETC. TO WATER LINES
IS A COMMON PROCEDURE. THIS GROUNDING MAY BE IN THE BUILDING OR MAY OCCUR AWAY FROM THE
BUILDING. THIS GROUNDING CAN CAUSE ELECTRICAL FEEDBACK INTO A FOUNTAIN, CREATING AN
ELECTROLYSIS WHICH CAUSES A METALLIC TASTE OR AN INCREASE IN THE METAL CONTENT OF THE WATER.
THIS CONDITION IS AVOIDABLE BY USING THE PROPER MATERIALS AS INDICATED. ANY DRAIN FITTINGS
PROVIDED BY THE INSTALLER SHOULD BE MADE OF PLASTIC TO ELECTRICALLY ISOLATE THE FOUNTAIN
FROM THE BUILDING PLUMBING SYSTEM. WE SUGGEST THAT THE BOTTLE FILLING STATION AND WATER
COOLER BE PROTECTED BY A GROUND FAULT CIRCUIT INTERRUPTER (GFCI).

Attach Port Fittings onto Filter Head

Insert 3/8" 90° Elbow fitting into IN port and 1/4" poly tube into OUT port.

Attach Filter Head Assembly

Attach the filter head assembly to the filter mounting bracket with four screws.

Filter Installation Steps

Mount Filter Head Assembly

Mount the filter head assembly into the cooler using a single screw.

Connect Building Water Supply

Remove inlet from strainer, connect 3/8" poly tubing to filter inlet and water inlet using a union.

Re-plumbing Single Station Water Circuits (Non-Filter)

Re-route Water Supply to Regulator Inlet

Re-plumbing Single Station Water Circuits (With Filter)

Re-route Water Supply to Regulator

Connect Water Supply from Regulator to Bubbler

Re-plumbing Two Level Station Water Circuits (Non-Filter)

Re-plumbing Two Level Station Water Circuits (With Filter)

Connect Water Supply

Add Water Supply to Bottle Filler

Basin Assembly Preparation

Install New Basin Assembly

Fasten Basin Assembly in Place

Bottle Filler Installation

Top Cover and Wall Plate Preparation

Remove top cover, remove wall mounting plate, mark holes, and install to wall.

Unit Mounting and Connections

Feed cords/lines through gasket, install gasket, fish wires, place filler on mounting plate tabs.

Filter Installation and Final Checks

Install filter cartridge, connect water line, turn on water, check leaks, plug in unit, verify dispensing.

Setting the Control Board

Reset Filter Monitor

Reset the filter monitor by pressing the program button until "RST FLTR" appears.
