  A noisy HAMPTON BAY Fan can be caused by several factors: - Ensure all motor housing screws are snug. - Check that the screws attaching the fan blade arm to the motor hub are tight. - Confirm wire nut connections aren't rattling against each other or the switch housing's interior wall. - Allow a 24-hour "breaking-in" period for new fans, as most noises disappear during this time. - If using a ceiling light kit, ensure the glassware and light bulb are secured tightly. - Verify there's a short distance between the ceiling and the canopy, ensuring it doesn't touch the ceiling. - Make sure your ceiling box is secure, and rubber isolator pads are used between the mounting bracket and outlet box.

  Most fan wobble issues are due to loose parts. Ensure all blades and blade bracket screws are secure. After proper installation, let the HAMPTON BAY Fan run for 10 minutes to self-adjust. To verify blade level: - Measure from the center of each blade to a point on the ceiling above the blade tip. Deviations should be within 1/8 inch. - If deviations are less than 1/8 inch and wobble persists, call Customer Service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON for a complimentary Blade Balancing Kit. - If deviation exceeds 1/8 inch, call Customer Service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON to order complimentary bracket replacements.
