it is not compatible with an auxiliary starter. Refer to the
operators manual of the vehicle.
Caution! Always refer to the operators manual for the
battery before you charge the battery.
1 Connect the product to the battery. Refer to “3.2 To
connect the product to a battery” on page 21.
2 Press the “Charge” button. The product starts to
charge the battery. The display shows charging
current, symbols for the clips, and a battery symbol
that fills up as the battery is charged. When the
battery is fully charged the product automatically
switches to maintenance charging.
Note! The standard charging current is 10 A. If it is neces-
sary to use a dierent charging current, press the “Charge
rate” button to adjust the charging current to 1, 3, 5 or 10 A.
Note! If the product overheats, an overheat symbol shows in
the display. The product will decrease the charging current
automatically to decrease the temperature in the product.
3.4 To recondition a battery
1 Connect the product to the battery. Refer to “3.2 To
connect the product to a battery” on page 21.
2 Press the “Recond” button to select battery
recondition mode.
Note! It is not possible to select battery recondition mode if
the “Charge” button have been pressed and the product is in
charging mode. If the product is in charging mode, press the
“Charge” button again to stop the charging mode before you
press the “Recond” button.
3 Press the “Charge” button to start the recondition of
the battery.
Note! A battery recondition takes approximately 2 hours.
The product switches to charging mode automatically when
the battery recondition is finished.
4 Repeat the battery recondition again and again until
the performance of the battery has improved.
Note! If the performance of the battery does not improve
after 5 operations, replace the battery.
4 Maintenance
4.1 To clean the product
Warning! Disconnect the power plug before you
clean or do maintenance on the product.
Clean the product with a dry or damp cloth.
5 Storage
5.1 To put the product in storage
Warning! Disconnect the power plug before you
prepare the product for storage.
Caution! Do not wind the power cord or clips cables
around the charger housing.
Keep the product in a dry and well-ventilated
environment and away from children.
Wind the power cord loosely on the power cord storage
and put the power plug in the storage holder for the
power plug.
Wind the clips cables loosely on the clips cables storage
and attach the clips to the storage holders for the clips.
6 Disposal
6.1 To discard the product
Make sure that you follow local regulations when you
discard the product. Do not burn the product.
